Bad weather...
Well not really
I find no matter how hard you try some days it still rains on your parade. Being light of heart sometimes I feel like I can conquer the rain and dance in it. Other times I feel like A woman trying to get all her paper bagged groceries into her convertible while its raining down cats and dogs. I get to thinking about the universe and its strange ways. Some days are like gold and other days are dull in comparison. Then you have those days you rather not ever have to think about, but they linger like skunk on the highway.

A bad day can bring you down for a week. Where it takes 10 compliments to cast a shadow or impression on you; it is as easily taken away as one smarmy person's snide remarks about your hair or pants.

I should hope that every morning allows each one of us the chance to start again. I should hope for possible change. As like rain and every other force of nature, they can change and start and stop so can we. What will happen tomorrow? What will I do to prepare myself?

Like a bad case of the flu or notice of storms I find it is best to be prepared! I like to try to keep on my being or in my car a flashlight, umbrella, poncho, etc. I usually have a stash of extra clothes (nice casual and a set of nightwear) I keep in my purse the lady's essentials -

• 20 bucks in cash for emergencies, not star bucks,
• a flashlight
• Women's Necessities
• Facial cleansing cloths (you have no idea how important these are)
• Swiss army knife
• Pen, pencil, writing supplies
• Mini notebook
• Post its
• Phone charger
• Phone card
• Copy of my dl # hidden and my insurance #
• Important Medical supplies :tweezers, bandaids, alcohol wipes...
• Mints


Your own list may be longer, I keep twice as much "seemingly simple" supplies in my car which drives my boyfriend batty. I am learning to be prepared! Bad weather ahead.
